Our Story
We started Columbus Foundation Pros after years of watching homeowners get burned by out-of-state “structural” franchises that fly in for an inspection, quote a number on the kitchen table, then disappear the moment a warranty claim shows up. Our founder grew up in central Ohio, ran crews on commercial waterproofing jobs across the Midwest, and brought that engineering rigor home to the residential foundation work that most of his neighbors actually needed. Residential is the opposite: we have to be the eye that recognizes the right scope from a 45-minute basement walkthrough, then quote and install on the same trust relationship. That requires deep diagnostic skill, which is what we focus on hiring and training.
What We Don’t Do
We don’t do new-construction foundation work — our entire skill set is diagnosing and repairing existing problems. We don’t do non-foundation general contracting — when finished-basement remodel work needs to happen after a waterproofing install, we refer to a list of vetted local GC partners.
